PRESS RELEASES
During my internship with the Institute of World Politics, I wrote and published press releases that showcased academic events, policy briefings, and diplomatic lectures. These pieces required quick turnaround, professional tone, and precise communication. I collaborated directly with faculty and communications staff to ensure institutional alignment.

RESEARCHED BASED
This in-depth research paper explored how the War on Terror distorted narratives around Muslim women and hindered feminist progress globally. Drawing from academic sources and case studies in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the West, I examined policy, media framing, and the intersection of Islamophobia and gender. My work earned recognition from faculty, and I was invited to speak on a University Writing panel to share insights from the piece and my growth as a writer and researcher.

CREATIVE
This Her Campus feature is both personal and cultural. I reflected on what it means to be a female football fan in a male-dominated space and how women are reclaiming the narrative around sports fandom. This piece marked a turning point in my writing voice—blending reporting, commentary, and personal storytelling—and became one of my most meaningful contributions to Her Campus GWU.
